Dear Lovely Reader,
I was surprised to learn that Kleenex had made a face wipe! These were received as part of my most recent How To Be A Redhead beauty subscription box.
The packaging is OK. Clean, simple, basic. The container is made of plastic, recyclable, which is nice. On the bottom, the Kleenex information lists that there are 25 wipes.
It was pretty simple to open, and remove the protective covering. The wipes themselves smell like…baby wipes. Pleasant. They are not overly soaking in product but are moist. The wipes themselves are pretty thick. Which means they are not flushable. The plastic container box it comes in can be refilled with the wipes coming in a plastic bag. As far as cleaning the face, it did the job. On the Kleenex website the claim is the wipes are pre-moistened with water based cleanser, and the wipes have a “face loving texture” lifts and traps dirt, excess oil and makeup. The wipe doesn’t feel rough but I do feel the texture, which probably helps to remove makeup. My skin didn’t dry out and was soft. There was no residue. I like the wipes. They are perfect on the dresser to use after a long day and refreshing. The refillable container keeps the wipes clean and the wipes retain their moisture longer, which is nice because the ones that just come in the packets are OK until air gets in and they dry out which is a bummer.
The price tag for the container with one fill of the wipes is: $9.99 (U.S.) and the refill wipes alone is $4.99 (U.S.) and can be found at Target.

Have you tried this product? What did you think of it? Would you buy something that can be in a container or does it matter?
