The #NaturalLook Going Into Summer…

Dear Lovely Reader,

This was a question posed on Influenster, and I thought what a great prompt to write up about.

These have been the products that are going into heavy rotation as the weather heats up and we get more sunny humid days:

Kopari Coconut Rose Toner Spray — love love love this.  Perfect for prepping your face.

WETNWILD REVEAL

Wet N Wild Unicorn Glow — beautiful gorgeous highlighters, perfect for the summer!

Kopari Coconut Melt – an all over moisturizer and restorer.  Takes care of dry skin and dry hair/ends.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 55 — My first favorite – it does dry quickly once applied.  I would apply this on my nose, cheeks, chin, neck, chest and arms.  It doesn’t feel heavy and because it’s so light on the skin I just have to remind myself to reapply after a couple of hours throughout the day.

Coty Air Spun Loose Face Powder – Put a little on the face when it gets a little too shiny or to set makeup in the morning, works like a charm.

Neutrogena Beach Defense Sunscreen Lotion Water & Sun Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 70 — I just picked this one up recently because I couldn’t find my Ultra-Sheer Dry Touch, and this goes on my face.  Smells just like summer at the beach.  A little bit on the face and neck.

I also cover my head in the summer more, try to find a nice hat that provides some protection and shade to my head and face.

Tok Yo Milk Dark in La Vie En Rose is a great lip balm that comes in a tin.  Lip balms are great in the summer and all year round.  These also help calm stray hairs.

When I want to use some color, I go to lipcolor…Colourpop Ultra Matte or Tarte Creamy Matte.

For the Spring into Summer, I was doing a lot of colors in the pink, light pink, baby pink, dark pink, for makeup.  As summer comes closer, I find that less is definitely more in the makeup department.  I’ve dropped the foundation, and kept just concealer as part of my beauty routine.  The concealer in question?  Tarte Shape Tape.  Nothing else lasts longer on my T-Zone, meaning, this gets applied on the nose, around the nostrils, to get rid of the redness I have, evening my skintone, and minimize the look of the pores and freckles on my nose.  I still also use Smashbox Primer Spray to lock in the look.  Yes, it can be used as a setting spray as well as a primer.  It’s attractive to be able to use a product in multiple ways.

It also helps to drink plenty of water, eat fresh veggies and fruit and sleep well.

And that’s it.  My natural look.  What do you have in your plan for your #naturallook?

Stay lovely!
