LET’S REVIEW: Covergirl Clean Sensitive

Dear Lovely Reader,

Today I delved into my recent Target haul of foundations and decided to try Covergirl out first.

The Covergirl Clean Sensitive goes on smoothly, not too sticky, and blends into the skin very quickly.  It does not have a pump so it pours out.

There was no overpowering scent.  I blended it into my face with a beauty sponge (Real Techniques).   I started with a clean face and used the Rimmel Lasting Finish 8 Hour Primer then the Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer for under the eyes and around the nostrils and blended in.

From the Covergirl and Amazon website:

  • 100% Fragrance-Free and Oil-Free
  • Safe for Sensitive Skin

  • Dermatologist-tested
  • Won’t clog pores

Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Propylene Glycol, Talc, Glycerin, PEG/PPG 18/18 Dimethicone, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Cyclomethicone, Magnesium Sulfate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Laureth 7, Arachidyl Behenate, Silica, Trihydroxystearin, Propylparaben, Methicone, Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate, Methylparaben, Synthetic Wax, Trisodium EDTA, Ethylene Brassylate, Stearic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Mica

The price is $6.99 (U.S.).  There are 9 colors listed on the Covergirl website but I only came across 6 at Target.

Looks very natural, and I’m thankful that I was able to blend nicely into my skin.  I think I will put this into my day makeup mix for the month of May.

The final test will see how this works for an 8 to 10 hour day while at the dayjob.  Will update on that in another post.

Stay lovely!
