Dear Lovely Reader,

Hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day!

Had a beautiful morning and afternoon doing a quick Target stop before heading to one of my favorite lunch spots in East Harlem, a retro diner called the Harlem Shake.

Lunch was truly awesome, with a good ol’ fashioned burger called the Harlem Classic, along with some fresh fries and a delicious Valentine’s themed shake.  They had three limited-time flavors, so I tried the Rosehip one (which had candied rosehips sprinkled on top and the shake itself tasted of vanilla and rosesdeee-licious!)

The greenish one was called a Conversation shake, which was to taste like cotton candy.  The third, which I took to go, is called the Wild Black Cherry Kiss, which has dark chocolate within.  YUM!  If you’re ever in New York City and in Harlem (first location) or East Harlem (second location), try them out!

Here’s a pic of the lovely Conversation (with candied hearts) and Rosehip (candied rosehip) shakes:

And my look for the casual yet retro lunch?
