Received my very first FabFitFun box — Editor’s Box — on Christmas Eve.  How fitting is that?

The box goes for $39.99.  You don’t get to choose if you are getting it one at a time and not paying for the year at once.  But.  You can also pay for the year at $179.99 (it’s called the SELECT)- the box comes out 4 times a year and then YOU get to choose what goes in your box.

Everything seemed to be full-size products.  I also like the ModCloth blanket scarf, very apropos for this time of year.  The box had eight other items in there, including a piece of jewelry, very cute and understated, 18k plated necklace with a small name plate that read the word “happy”.  Something I need and wish to pursue and get for 2017.

What’s in the box?

ModCloth Lock and Key Scarf – an oversized scarf, just in time for 21 degree Fahreheit weather!

The Created Co. To Go Coffee Mug – Emblazoned with the words “Good morning Gorgeous!” A positive thing to see in the morning.  Portion of proceeds go to getting fresh clean water to places that need it.

Manna Kadar – a lip product that claims to be a 3 in 1 – a primer, gloss and stain in one plus moisturizing treatment, just in time for winter.

Marrakesh Argan & Hemp Oil – to keep hair tresses smooth conditioned and shiny from winter dryness

O.R.G. Skincare – Mineral Peel for the Face – the enclosed card says it’s an “all natural enzyme exfoliant with brightening agents extracts dermal debris and dead skin in seconds.  Simply spray it on massage it off and get ready to glow!”

JOOK & NONA -tag necklace – explained above

Anderson LILLEY – Beach Butter Body Cream – for when your skin needs a bit more TLC  — in Sicilian Tangerine (fresh citrus-y smell)

Zoya – Nail Polish – box card read that it’s lacquer and is 5-free, vegan-friendly and safe for use during pregnancy for classic manicures.

A $40.00 off coupon for HELLO FRESH (for a food subscription — you’re provided wholesome recipes and fresh pre-measured ingredients delivered to your door each week)

The cutest yet most well meaning part was the coloring book and pencil set from FabFitFun to aid in reducing anxiety and stress.  The pencil box has a blurb on the back regarding “Pencils of Promise” – FFF has partnered with PoP (a for-purpose organization founded in 2008 with the goal of increasing access to quality education for children in the developing world.”

There was a welcome booklet telling me a bit more about the company, and who the founder is and who the other contributors/players are in FabFitFun with mini-bios and photos attached.  It’s a nice touch, and I couldn’t help but notice, all female in powerful positions and company titles.  Very positive to see.

Overall, and considering I didn’t have a say in choosing ANY of the products in the Editor’s edition, I have to say, for my first ever set, I’m rather impressed.  These are products that I have never heard of before, (save for ModCloth) but that I would be willing to try out.

Everything came in a sturdy box and had inner cushioning and every single thing was intact, nothing was bent, broken, separated or leaking. What a joy!

And did I mention these are full size samples?

For $39.99 — OK, I give this a thumbs up.

If you are interested in joining, here’s my link – I admit I’d get $15.00 off on my next purchase!  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to YOU!
