E.L.F. has got another winner with Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palatte. The colors are great, easily blendable, nice pigmentation, creamy. There is a bit of kick to the powder, but manageable. You can pack on the color or keep it light, which is what I like to do, especially for day.
This is great for every day, the office and a night out. If you are heavy into playing up the eyes without the glittery or neon-y effect, this is it. If you a beginner, this is a great introduction to eye makeup and blending colors. The case it comes in is sleek, light, portable. I think this should be in the go-to kit for versatility and quality. And the price is nice $10.00 (U.S.)
I use their Shadowlock Eye Primer and the color stays on nice and all day.
Go with their recommendation to use with it their Eyeshadow “C” brush.
Very happy with it. A definite YES.

Achieve both beautifully bold or subtle everyday eye looks with these perfectly curated 10 matte eyeshadow shades. This collection of hues is ideal for shading, highlighting, and defining the eyes. The satin matte shadows can be used as a liner, on the lid, and in the crease of the eye for an expertly contoured and blended look.
how to use
- Choose a light color from the mad for matte eyeshadow palette and with an eye contour brush, apply all over the eyelid as a base or to highlight.
- Next, apply a medium shade in the crease with a crease brush to contour.
- Then, apply the darkest shade to line the eye with an angled liner brush for depth and a smoky look.
